I work alone in my fully climate controlled shop. I have been collecting tools and machinery for over 30 years and have everything I feel I need to build instruments accurately and efficiently. I work with basic woodworking machinery and a vast array of hand tools. I do not employ automated machinery, preferring instead to work "hands on" with the wood.

Although I make some basic parts in short production runs, each guitar is designed, assembled, and finished individually. Working this way allows me to give each instrument and each customer my undivided attention.

The process begins with selecting woods from my aged stocks. Selection is made based on the wood's tonal properties, aesthetic appeal and the carefully considered needs and desires of my client.
