Archtop Features
My archtops feature solid wood tops and backs. Each
plate is hand carved and carefully graduated to produce
the best possible tone. I use X bracing to enhance tonal
complexity and sustain.
I machine most of the hardware myself from solid brass
which is then gold plated for looks and durability.
On amplified models, I use a Kent Armstrong floating
pickup with tone and volume controls.
