An alternate wood choice is my most commonly requested
option. Using different woods can have a dramatic effect
on both the tone and the look of a guitar.
From Adirondack to Ziricote, I stock a wide variety
of traditional and alternative woods.
Choosing the best wood for a particular guitar will
depend on many factors including the size of the guitar
and the desired tonal and visual character. Careful
consideration of the many factors is required in order
to make the correct choice. This is usually the most
discussed aspect of a custom guitar.
