Bob's Brazlecone
This Brazilian rosewood Bristlecone is topped with Italian spruce. Together, these woods produce a clear, rich, tone. Appointments are Brazilian rosewood, Macassar
ebony and koa. A Manzer Wedge and a 25.25" scale make the Brazlecone comfortable and easy to play.
This is Bob's second Blanchard guitar. He also owns a Pinyon model.
"I primarily play solo jazz chord melody arrangements, so I look for guitars that can deliver clear melody with supportive harmony throughout all registers of the fretboard. Aside from being beautifully designed, crafted and a pleasure to play; Mark's flattops are dynamic, respond to increasing attack, present balanced string volume and sustain evenly across the strings and deliver "fat" round trebles even when played beyond the 12th fret!"
